Requirements and Information

At Saint Elizabeth University, each transfer student is assigned to a transfer counselor as a resource and mentor through both the admission and financial aid process. Associate's degree holding students will have the STEU liberal arts core waived, and therefore will be able to begin studies at the university with junior status since all Associate's degree credits transfer. Additionally, STEU accepts up to 90 transfer credits towards the 120 credit bachelor's degree. All students are able to have cars on campus and housing is guaranteed for those who complete their paperwork on time. Transfers find STEU to be a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home, and a great place to seamlessly complete their degree of choice. Transfer scholarships and grants are available to eligible students. Recent internship placements include diverse placements such as Colgate Palmolive, Pfiser, Barnes & Noble, Morris County Prosecutor's Office and the Spanish Embassy in Washington, DC.

Our adventurous students have participated in Study Abroad experiences where they have studied literature, history, music, art and food culture in Italy: Venice, Florence, Rome, Tuscany, and Umbria (July 2011), Paris and the Loire Valley (January 2013), Southern Italy and Greece (July 2013) and the upcoming Austria, Germany and Switzerland (July 2015). Other students have explored social justice issues at the International Peace Seminar in Hiroshima, Japan, and the March of Remembrance and Hope in Poland. Still others have chosen service learning opportunities in the Dominican Republic. STEU will again be welcoming students and faculty from Fuji Women's University in Sapporo, Japan, to study Foods & Nutrition. In turn, STEU students and faculty have traveled to Fuji Women's University.
